🌱 How can Europe improve access to finance for the next generation of farmers?
Join the European Commission’s EU Agriculture and Food and the European Investment Bank (EIB) in Warsaw on 18–19 June 2026 for the event on “Boosting generational renewal in EU agriculture – improving access to finance for young farmers”.
The European Commission - Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI) and the European Investment Bank (EIB) are pleased to open registrations for the event 'Boosting generational renewal in EU agriculture – improving access to finance for young farmers', taking place on 18–19 June 2026 in Warsaw, Poland.
This two-day gathering will advance Commission’s Strategy for Generational Renewal in Agriculture and support ongoing work to develop innovative financial and advisory solutions for the sector. Discussions will center on improving access to finance for young farmers, with practical insights on CAP and its financial instruments for young farmers, national schemes for land investment and public guarantees, young farmers' development programs, banks' co-investment models with young farmers as well as blended finance and advisory support, alongside high level dialogue and valuable networking opportunities.
The conference will present the outcomes from the dedicated roundtable on access to finance between EU banks and young farmers that took place in March 2026, and will deliver on the specific products on access to finance as part of the EU strategy for generation renewal. Priority during the registration period will be given to young farmers, representatives of the EAFRD managing authorities, and financial institutions supporting this sector.
