Europe holds an extraordinary memory of soils, but this memory is still locked in forms that digital systems cannot properly use. Unlocking that memory is both scientifically necessary and publicly understandable. Our project combines soil heritage with AI-ready harmonization that transforms soil memory into reusable infrastructure. This orientation creates room for soil scientists, archive holders, data stewards, geospatial technologists, advisors, public authorities and application developers to contribute to a shared platform with long-term relevance.
