Preparing for the next #CAP programming period
#Tools4CAP's Handbook of Good Practices is a practical resource designed to support those working on #CAP design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿𝘀, 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗔𝗣 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆?
On 17 September 2026, #Tools4CAP will hold its tenth and final Academy module, focusing on the project’s Handbook of Good Practices: a practical resource designed to support those working on #CAP design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
The session comes at a timely moment, as policymakers and practitioners prepare for the next CAP programming period, shaped by the future Multiannual Financial Framework (#MFF), the introduction of National and Regional Partnership Plans, and discussions on the CAP Chapter.
Using the first chapter of the Handbook as a starting point, the session will explore:
✔️ The future of CAP strategic planning.
✔️ The shift from evidence-based to evidence-informed policymaking.
✔️ Lessons from the current CAP Strategic Plans.
✔️ Current discussions on the post-2028 framework, including #NRPPs and the CAP Chapter.
✔️ #Governance issues likely to influence future planning.
This final Academy module is an opportunity to look ahead, exchange views and contribute to a resource designed to support the next generation of agricultural policy
