E-Learning Platform: Supporting SMEs at Their Own Pace
The BioFarms SME Training Program brings together participating SMEs and Node facilitators from all partner countries into a structured, action-oriented learning process. The training is designed to support SMEs in understanding circular economy challenges, developing innovative business models, and preparing concrete Action Plans aligned with their local value chains.
An asynchronous e-learning platform will be used to access training materials, tools, methodologies and practical examples that SMEs can follow at their own pace. The training journey officially starts with the 1st Masterclass, where SMEs and Node facilitators will jointly explore the overall structure of the program, the learning methodology and tools, and co-create a shared “learning contract” defining participation rules, expectations and targeted outcomes, helping SMEs move from linear challenges to circular business models, validated solutions, and a practical business plan for valorizing agricultural residues.
This course supports SMEs develop circular economy strategies and innovative solutions for the exploitation of residues from agriculture. Participants will learn how to identify opportunities, design circular business models, and validate feasible solutions. The program uses practical tools (e.g., canvases and templates) to guide learners from understanding linear challenges to building innovative circular value propositions.
